There’s a reason Linux and mac people make fun of uninstall wizards. To make it more fun it’s not impossible that it’s low enough level that the uninstall wizard doesn’t get everything. Sounds like you ran into their default speeds which are apparently higher than your bios settings. Ryzen master has fan speed controls which can override bios controls apparently. I can't be the only one who this has happened to. How could this even happen? I thought Ryzen Master couldn't control fan speeds. I can't even think straight with all this noise, please help. I also made sure there were no new background apps running. My CPU utilization is higher than normal despite nothing being open but Chrome, Discord, Nord and Task Manager. ![]() I reset my BIOS with the software uninstalled, but my fans won't stop running at what sounds like half to full speed (relatively new Noctua fans, if it matters). ![]() All I did was install and open it then my fans immediately ramped up, so I promptly uninstalled, restarted into BIOS to check my fan speeds and they're still "silent".
